The Florida Auctioneers Association had a fabulous winter convention with memories, networking, and world class education. Below are some of the highlights.
The education at this year’s convention was nothing short of fantastic! NAA President and world famous auctioneer, Spanky Assiter, provided motivational words and set a path toward becoming a champion. Industry legends lend a panel discussion about the foundation upon which they’ve found success and how changes in the industry have affected their businesses.
In a special moment, Jim Gall, the immediate past recipient of the Lewis C. Dell award honored Gail Dietrich, posthumously, for her passion and dedication to FAA. Her beloved husband, Fred Dietrich, accepted the award.

In a tight race for the bid calling championship, all the contestants represented the association well as they interviewed with a panel of judges and sold three items in the bid calling round. Ultimately, the champion was Beth Rose.

The Florida Auctioneers Association held elections for the officer positions, as well as, three vacated director positions. This board is dedicated to pushing forward the Strategic Business Plan to grow membership, education its members, and ensure FAA members will be the preferred auction professionals used in the state of Florida.
