Robert AlmodovarAMM, GPPA, Past President
Robert Almodovar was born and raised in South Florida, where he currently resides with wife, Alyssa. Robert has been involved with the auction industry since 2010 when he started working for Stampler Auctions, a family-owned auction firm in business since 1960. After earning a degree from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2013, Robert has been full time in the auction business. Currently, he assists in every aspect of the business – auctions, appraisals, and real estate. Part of the reason he was attracted to this business was the wide variety of opportunities available to professional auctioneers.
Throughout his young career, Robert has learned the importance of being a part of the National Auctioneers Association and the Florida Auctioneers Association. Since 2014, he been a member of both the NAA and the FAA. Earning his AMM and GPPA designations from the NAA have been essential to expanding his overall industry knowledge. Robert made the decision to run for the Board of Directors because he believes in what the Florida Auctioneers Association stands for, supporting and education auctioneers and consumers on the auction method of marketing. During his time with the FAA, he has become part of a family of professionals that genuinely care about one another and the future of the auction industry.
David DybasAMM, CES, MPPA, President
Moecker Auctions, Inc
David D. Dybas of Moecker Auctions, Inc. is a Florida Licensed Auctioneer and holds the designations of Auction Marketing Management (AMM), Certified Estate Specialist (CES) and Master Personal Property Appraiser (MPPA). In addition, David has successfully completed the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) course. Living in Wesley Chapel and working out of the Tampa office, David joined the Moecker team in 1999 after working for a large retail chain of nurseries in Central Florida.
David performs on-site auctions and appraisals for banks, attorneys and trustees including heavy equipment, industrial machinery, restaurants, electronics, and furnishings. He is also involved with the management of business liquidations. In conjunction to working for Moecker Auctions, Inc. he also works for our parent company Michael Moecker & Associates, assisting court-appointed receivers, assignees, and liquidating trustees in cases with daily assignments including recovering and securing assets, inventory, and investigative work.
David is currently a member and serving on the board of directors for the Florida Auctioneers Association. Other memberships include, National Auctioneers Association, Fellowship of Christian Auctioneers International and the Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Bar Association. David has been a member of the Florida Auctioneers Association for the past 10 years and remains a member in part for the professional development he receives trough the annual conferences which include seminars required for designation continuing education credits.

Gina Boyleston is the owner, broker, and principal auctioneer of Boyleston Realty & Auction, Pensacola, Florida. Boyleston Realty & Auction is Northwest Florida’s longest established full-service auction company, is family owned and operated, and was founded in 1977.
Gina attained the industry’s top designation, CAI, joining an exclusive NAA group of professional auctioneers who have attained the designation. As of September 2021, there were approximately 742 current CAI designation holders in the world.
Gina Boyleston has “gone the extra mile” to offer the highest level of professionalism and the most up- to-date information by earning the Auction Marketing Management (AMM) designation. Offered through the National Auctioneers Association Education Institute, the AMM course covers topics such as lead generation and prospecting, internet marketing, branding, measuring efficiency and content creation. Less than 1% of Auctioneers throughout North America hold the AMM designation.
Gina is a licensed Florida real estate broker and is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Florida Association of Realtors and Pensacola Association of Realtors. As a member of the Women’s Council of Realtors, Gina is a perennial Top Gun Recipient.
In August 2021, Gina Boyleston was elected Vice President of the Florida Auctioneers and won the coveted 2021 Florida Auctioneers Bid Calling Championship at FAA’s Annual Conference and Show.

Don Cotton is the principal auctioneer for Cotton & Associates Auctions, LLC, a full-service auction and appraisal company in Pensacola, Florida. Don has been an auctioneer since 2004 and a real estate sales associate since 2007. Don specializes in Business Liquidations Benefit Auctions, Estate & Personal Property, Real Estate and as a Contract Auctioneer.
As an active member of the National Auctioneers Association, Don has earned the Certified Auctioneers Institute designation (held by only 15% of all auctioneers) and the Certified Estate Specialist designation. He also attends the NAA’s annual Conference & Shows to participate in training sessions and seminars, staying current on auction technology, trends, and marketing updates. Don is also an active member of the Florida Auctioneers Association where he works tirelessly on the Legislative Committee.
Don has been the primary auctioneer as Cotton & Associates Auctions conducted Benefit Auctions, Business Liquidations, Estate and Personal Property Auctions and Real Estate Auctions. He is also hold auctioneer licenses in Alabama and conducts personal property appraisals compliant with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice.
Leah Gioia was hired as a secretary at Pensacola’s own Garth’s Antiques & Auction Gallery in the Fall of 2016. Over the several years to follow, and under the tutelage of the late Winston Garth & Robert Garth, it took no time for Leah to fall in love with Auctions.
In the summer of 2019, Leah proudly received her designation as Honorary Colonel -Auctioneer, as well as her Ring Master Certification from the Florida Auctioneer Academy. She was honored to be instructed by Gary Smith - a legend with true heritage in the Auction industry. She was also mentored by other noted individuals, such as Keith Trowbridge, Heath Ogle & Chris Bohr aiding in her ability to assist customers across a broad spectrum of cases.
Leah opened her Auction House located in the heart of Pensacola’s Antique Strip, December of 2019 and has been honored to assist families across the Gulf Coast throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic with settling loved one’s estates and mediating challenging Probate-related cases. Gioia & Co. offers full Estate and Commercial Liquidations, in addition to Fair Market and specialized Appraisals.

A 2012 Florida Auctioneer Academy graduate, Guillermo is president of Don Dinero LLC, a company specializing in high-end jewelry, art, and antiques. The company acquires complete estates and conducts estate liquidations. Guillermo’s extensive background in the pawnshop field provides customers with vast knowledge in evaluating assets to achieve the highest results for personal property. Guillermo serves on the Communications Committee as a director of the Florida Auctioneers Association and promotes membership for all licensed auctioneers to elevate their business model concurrent with ever changing trends in the auction industry.
Anne Nouri, AARE, BAS, CAI, GPPA a licensed Realtor, Auctioneer and Personal Property Appraiser, with a passion for guiding Clients on their Downsizing Journey. Known as the Downsizing Coach, Anne’s 25-year career as a product designer with a successful television show on the HSN-Home Shopping Network, Shop NBC, TVSN Australia and The Shopping Channel in Canada has prepared her for guiding clients in their Downsizing Journey with the sale of their real estate and personal assets. Anne also enjoys serving her peers as an EI - Education Institute, Trustee with the NAA – National Auctioneer’s Association.

Barrett Palombo is the CEO and Auctioneer for Storage Auction Kings, a company which concentrates solely on storage auctions at our client facilities. After attending and graduating from Worldwide College of Auctioneering in 2012 and receiving accreditation as a Certified Bi-Lingual Auctioneer Barrett knew his passion was in the auction industry. He enjoys that no one auction is ever the same and it is always unpredictable. Building lasting loyal partnerships with his customers and bidders is what he strives to do and why he does what he does every day. He is an active Member of the National Auctioneers Association, Colorado Auctioneers Association, Colorado Self Storage Association and Florida Auctioneers Association. As Head Auctioneer for Concierge Auctions, Frank has had the opportunity to sell over a billion dollars of the most beautiful homes on the planet, in some of the most exciting locations on the planet and met some of the most interesting and successful people on the planet. He has been an auctioneer for the largest equipment auction company in the world and major auto auctions throughout the US. Frank has owned and operated several art and antique auction galleries, a public auto auction and equipment auction yard staging multi-million-dollar sales plus an on-site auction service. His clients include State, City, and Federal Government Agencies, banks, leasing companies, investment firms, accounting firms, bankruptcy courts, private individuals, and many others. Frank has worked with non-profits and charities raising over twenty-five million dollars including the Symphony, Opera, Ballet, Art Guilds, NFL, Special Olympics, and many more. Frank says he has had some exciting experiences and memories, but the time he has shared with his fellow auctioneers, (often referred to as our auction family) will always find its way to the top. He has found there is a shared common goal to do the right thing, play fair and respect each other. There exists an undeniable kindred spirit amongst us.

Angela JohnsonAdministrative Director

Angela was hired in January 2017 to serve as the FAA’s Administrative Director. She has a bachelor’s degree in Education from St. Leo University. Besides being a teacher, Angela served as the Executive Director for the Levy County Schools Foundation. Although Angela is not an auctioneer, she is very familiar with the auction industry through her work with her husband, Chad, in their auction company and attendance of many Florida Auctioneers Association and National Auctioneers Association events. She has attended two of the three required terms for the CAI designation and attended the AMM class held in Florida in May 2016. She also served on the NAA Auxiliary Board of Directors and was the Chairwoman for 2015-2016. Angela, Chad, and three of their four children reside on their family farm in Chiefland.
