2020 Annual Meeting

October 18, 2020 @ 3:00 pm EDT

In light of current circumstances, the FAA Board has decided to postpone the Winter Conference and activities which are typically held during this event.

We will hold the 2020 FAA Annual Membership Meeting, in person, on Sunday, Oct. 18th @ 3 pm at Holiday Inn & Conference Center 3600 SW 38th Ave Ocala, FL 34474.

All current members (2020 dues paid) are invited to attend. A current Florida auction license (AU, AB or AE) and 2020 FAA membership are required to vote on any business conducted during an FAA meeting.

So that FAA can prepare, and the hotel can meet social distancing and other safety precautions, we will need to know in advance if you will be attending the meeting in person.  Please watch emails for registration information and more details as we approach the meeting date.

This meeting is vital to the future of the Florida Auctioneers Association. Topics to be presented and voted on include the following:

Modifications to the current By-Laws-
  • Membership types
  • Increase in membership dues
  • Officer/Director descriptions/responsibilities
  • Communication procedures
  • Voting procedures
  • Amendment procedures
  • Election procedures
  • Meeting procedure
Adoption of Standard Operating Procedures
Election of officers for the 2020/2021 year
  • President
  • President-Elect
  • Vice President
  • Secretary, Treasurer
  • 3 Director positions


 There will be a Zoom Call on October 8th at 3 pm to discuss many of the topics that will be voted on during the Annual Membership Meeting. We hope you will join us for the Zoom call, and if you are able, in person in Ocala.
